Works for my needs very well. Like being able to read on every device.

EDIT - I deleted and reinstalled the app, crashing has been fixed! I love Mendeley! I likely would not have made it this far in University without it! However this version of the app keeps cancelling the sync and crashing on me! Please fix this asap and I will change to 5 stars for sure!

This app is amazing as a pdf organizer, Ive been using the desktop version for years. However, both versions need expanded annotation options, specifically page rotation option and multiple colours for highlighting! These additions would increase the usefulness of this app immensely!

Works to show papers stored in Mendeley but wheres the chat?!

The app seems to keep improving, however still crashes anytime I attempt to search (on an iPhone 4/iOS 7).

Notability was lagging too much so I switched to using Mendeley. It has great functions for highlighting. Do not download the papership app, its useless

I was looking for a proper tagging and organizing system to do all my academic work with. I had tried Zotero before and abandoned it because its app was too crappy. When I found Mendely and started using the iPad app, I was happy to finally find a good system. But as I started to use it as my main note-taking and annotating workflow, I realized that I lost a lot of work to crashes. My notes didnt save and the synch between the iPad app and the desktop app is very bad. I abandoned it because of that.

A truly invaluable tool. A must-have for researchers and students alike.

This is exactly what I was looking for, I have no complaints so far. A million times better than Papers, and everything is free (unlike Papers for PC). I do hope it stays free or for a very minimal fee... starving student and all that! My only recommended improvement would be to allow creating a bibliography without pulling from in-text citations, i.e. ticking a list of which articles you want, and then a button to compile... rather than copy/pasting citations one at a time. That said, the MS Word extension is fab for what it does. :)

What a shame. Used to be a terrific app. Now get "wrong password" message yet link to reset password does NOT work. Please fix.

Great app thanks, its more useful if the app can add star to a doc and sync.

Totally unusable on iOS 5 as it stands, although I have high hopes for this app in the long term. Try Sente instead.

Syncing research papers with iPad is a great idea. It is just sad that Mendeley fails miserably in the execution. You can sync your citations and files with Mendeley, but viewing PDFs is useless. You cannot view full screen in landscape mode, meaning that you can only view an A4 paper at half its width (in portrait mode). This ensures that as far as reading papers are concerned, Mendeley is useless. Also, if you organized your papers in folders, the iPad app magically collapses it. You are much better off making a special Dropbox folder and sorting your papers in there. Not the perfect solution, but better than this... This App is a waste of time and left me severely disillusioned.

Cannot open a PDF file with other apps. When tapping "Open in ...", i always see a window pop up without showing any icons of other viewers.

日本語環境ではpdf見れません。 言語環境を英語にすればpdf見れました。 改善お願いします。 In English language environment I can see pdf files but cannot in a Japanese language environment. Please improvement.

Couldnt get it to display PDF files. It was already set to English. Deleted the app and reinstalled, still didnt work. Rebooted the app, then it worked. Seems to be fine now, but needs work on initial installation.

This is a great app to read the articles Wishing for dictionary support.

This app make it easy to share papers between PC and SmartPhone. Only desktop app loading paper, I can read same one on mobile. It is very convenient for me.

I like the easy metadata management and the search functionality. The app can be improved for storage management, for example using a cloud storage like Dropbox. Also I would like a PDF annotation tool for reviewing a paper.
