Had high hope, but abandoned it

I was looking for a proper tagging and organizing system to do all my academic work with. I had tried Zotero before and abandoned it because its app was too crappy. When I found Mendely and started using the iPad app, I was happy to finally find a good system. But as I started to use it as my main note-taking and annotating workflow, I realized that I lost a lot of work to crashes. My notes didnt save and the synch between the iPad app and the desktop app is very bad. I abandoned it because of that.
