Although it is free, the app should allow highlight directly from mobile devices (or at least a PRO version should do). Also, it is frequently crashing. Nonetheless I appreciate it; please fix the above mentioned issues. Thank you!
ugly and useless
Great app! ...but it would be better if the developers will include the possibility to download files once selected instead of all of them during sync! ...and include the option for opening links on other browsers!
How can I read in full screen? Why there arent tools underline and notes like in the desktop version? Still a lot of work to be done
We really miss a great Mendeley app for iPad...and finally we got it! Useful, works also with my huge library, sync is always smooth. I rate it four stars just because I am confident that the Mendeleys team will release further updates to reach the fifth star.
I work in a scientific library and I use this app for my job
I cannot add new PDF or add new bibliographical data. Please improve.
It was perfect. Now I can only connect through the desktop app or via web. Cant login anymore via the iOS app :(
Desperately needs highlighting and annotating.
Love
Mendeley is one my most essential research tools. It keeps my paper library sorted and organized, syncs across my computers and iPad, and keeps my notes with them. Its simple to import files, (drag and drop on the desktop version or open with in the ap) and citation info almost always reads In Automatically from the PDFs. Its easy to highlight and make notes in the text or summary notes on the side. Just hold down finger in app to start highlight or add annotation. It integrates with word for writing and reference lists. It is free. Really, what else is there to ask for? This system is great. The desktop version is a bit easier to use than the app, but it is nice to have access when I am on the run to check something or make a quick note.
Funny, in which century are we living...such an up has no support for Dropbox etc. in addition highlights are not visible outside of the app. Guys, please check out the other apps and see how cloud integration and highlight can be written.
The most common use of this app in mobile devices would be to read papers, unlike desktop app where it would mainly be used for managing library. Given that, Id expect the reader to have more features, or allow external annotations.
Best reference manager Ive found. Easy to download articles, annotate them on PC or iPad, sort, select, search and import into Word with almost flawless APA formatting. An invaluable tool for my dissertation.
Where is it? Does it even exist? It shouldnt be that hard to unhighlight. Liner app has pretty easy option but Liner app doesnt have highlighting for pdf on mobile. If I cant unhighlight with Mendeley on iPhone, then it leaves me with no room for mistakes. Thats unreasonable. How to resolve it? Simple. Make Unhighlighting a breeze w/ no questions asked process. I need that mobile pdf highlighter that I can the export those highlights into a CLEAN note form.
The app is mostly OK except for logging me out every day. Its an app for reading papers not a banking system.
This app is great as a PDF organizer and viewer, but as an app designed to interact with PDFs it falls a little short. Please add Apple Pencil or Bluetooth stylus support to improve the experience
This app is great for researching and applying articles Please add the plugin to this app so that we can use it in word or pages app as well!!
Please add these features! Highlight on scanned PDFs even if its just highlight block! On both the phone and desktop apps, please add more annotation features: highlight in different colors, text directly onto PDF (like writing in margins), simple shapes (like Apple Preview annotation options, shape borders no fill, lines for underlining text, arrows, etc.) This app could be PERFECT! Thank you!
